The First Mazda 3/Axela Sport in Korea

I brought over from Hawaii the first Mazda3-S to Korea.* Since then I gave my 3-S to PeakPoint to add an HKS turbo intercooler, Brembo over-sized brakes, Sachs suspension, Super Sprint exhust, ECU tuning, and wheels and tires that are going to be a surprise.* I am going to call my 3-S a 3-RS in the hopes that I get over 300hp out of it.* We will see.

Thanks,
Michael

So youre going to a turbo with the Turbo intercooler right.... Just from the way you wrote it sounded like you were getting an intercooler without a turbo..and I dont think HKS has a turbo for the 3 do they? Just HiBoost right now and hopefully Mental Addiction very soon.

Re: The First Mazda 3/Axela Sport in Korea

You are right, I worded it like I was just getting an intercooler.* HKS makes a turbo w/intercooler but you have to call them.* PeakPoint tried to get another turbo kit from some company in Japan but that fell through so, we called HKS in Korea whio made some calls to HKS Japan and got one for me.*
Right now the 3 is in the paint shop.* I was hit on the rear quarter panal and the shop that repaired the car did not do a great job.* Luckly, PeakPoint sends them a lot of business and now the 3 is stripped and getting a custom paint job.* Can not wait to see her.* I tried to have a picture avatar of my 3 but it will not upload for some reason.
You can look at it and the progress at my home page; www.tavalin.com when I get pictures.* PeakPoint's webpage is www.peakpoint.kr.co
Thanks, Michael

I am getting the full kit. The roters would not fit the stock wheel so I have to go with 18" with lower profiles tires, I think Peak is going with Hankook tires.

cool. can't wait to see pics of the brembos.
is yours the Sports line or the Gran Turismo line?
i can't really find a kit for the Mazda3 on the brembo site, so any info will really be helping me out.

Re: The First Mazda 3/Axela Sport in Korea

I really do not know which set Peak is installing but the owner of the shop told the "four piston oversize brake system", if that helps.* I will get more information about the breaks for you after the holiday here in Korea.* The Peak owner is putting a lot of his own time in this project and it is a bit of a pain to get all the parts.* Nothing for the 3-S here.

Did you see the Carbon Fiber SRI Intake?* The site is http://www.umnitza.com/.* Just do a search for Mazda3 and two products come up.* Really a good price and if I can I will install it if the HKS system will allow.* I got a Japanese Voltage and Grounding kit from a company called Drydenn here.*

Wish someone would sponcer my 3-S so I could save some money...lol.
