Re: The First Mazda 3/Axela Sport in Korea

Ran into problems with PeakPoint. He is having some trouble with the business so I am going to take the HKS turbo to someone else to install. Man, it is a lot of trouble to tune a car here. It is getting very hard to get a dealer to send me the parts. I will keep you informed on the progress or the lack of progress on the car.

Yes, I am in Korea. Seoul to be exact. I am moving a little south (Deagu) soon so if you would like to meet it needs to happen real soon. My email address is michael@tavalin.com or tavalin@tavalin.com. Then I will punch over my cell phone number to you. Then we will talk about meeting. I really do not want to give out my cell phone on a forum. It is easier for me to block someones email than a phone number.

Re: The First Mazda 3/Axela Sport in Korea

Well, After many delays, my Mazda 3 is finnally in the shop to get the turbo intercooler system installed. The carbon fiber hood and grill are going to take two weeks from today. Man, it has been a pain. I am going to have pictures soon of the work being done. Thanks for all of your advice. It has been a great help in my understanding the tuning that is being done.
Well, standby for the pics...

Re: The First Mazda 3/Axela Sport in Korea

Well, The story has ended on my adventure. I moved to Fairfax County, Virginia and found out that a car can not have two computers. The emmision testing is done through the wiring harness inside the vehical. They could not get a reading from mine because the emmisions are controled by the second computer. Anyway, the customs waiver expired and I had to get rid of my Mazda. So, I bought a 2007 Mazda 3-GT. Now, it looks like I have a chance to go back to Korea (and I just traded my car). Anyway, it was great to get all of the help from everyone here. Sorry but the pictures are now gone but the Mazda Page I created is still there. I am not getting any suggestions on what content to post so I am not updating it often.
Thanks Again, Michael
