Okay so I have a 07 hatchback touring model, so no bose system. The aux stopped working randomly. I have tried multiple cords, different devices, and I even changed the whole aux port to a second hand one. I bought the whole aux assembly, unplugged mine and tried the other one with same results. I then bought a direct aux hookup for the back of the head unit and that didn't work either. I checked for a loose ground wire and found nothing. The fuses looked fine for the radio. I am trying to fix this before i blow a bunch of money on aftermarket. If anyone has any iea what this is it would be great to get advice. Thank you

Someone actually replied ohh mann!!! Not the answer I wanted to hear but ohh well. I kinda figured that was my only option. I bought a bunch of festival tickets this year, so my AUX will have to wait a wee bit. Lost Lands 2017, catch me on the rail!!

I can imagine a new hu being too expensive there's that enon option that always posts here. And either way I don't imagine a new unit with aux and Bluetooth being more expensive than another festival ticket

Rather than spend even more money on a head unit either way, I just bought a FM transmitter. Under 20$. Sad that my 07' came to using a transmitter, but its something. Now I can listen to my aux on the way to the festys and use the money I saved not buying a head unit :p haha.
